Emma Stone

The Cut: Look closely at Stone’s bangs. While at first glance they appear straight-across, they’re actually rounded at the edges to frame the star’s face. As for the layers, her hairstylist Mara Roszak says blending is key. “The shortest layer is chin-length around the whole head. Then I cut into the hair with the tip of my scissors to blend the layers, keeping it nice a full at the bottom.” What You Should Know: Roszak warns that when it comes to layering around the face, less is more: “I like the hair to lay softly and naturally without any choppiness. As a rule of thumb, I cut the shortest layer one half to one full inch under the chin.”
